Privacy notice
Effective 12 October 2026
This notice describes how D9 Data, LLC ("D9", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website and our business-to-business data services. D9 provides datasets concerning markets, transactions, assets, filings, and prices to institutional clients. We do not build profiles of individuals, track consumers, or sell personal data.
Information we collect
- Correspondence. When you contact us by email or through the form on this site, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, organization, email address, and the content of your message.
- Website data. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and operational purposes.
- Client records. In the course of an engagement we maintain business contact details for client personnel and the records necessary to administer the agreement.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to inquiries, negotiate and perform agreements, deliver and support our services, maintain the security of our systems, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Our datasets
D9 datasets are developed from public records, data licensed from the parties that hold it, and D9's own proprietary research and enrichment. They describe markets and transactions rather than individuals. Where a public record incidentally contains the name of a natural person, for example a party to a recorded instrument, we handle that record in accordance with the terms under which it was made public and applicable law, and we do not combine it with other data to profile that person.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that support our operations, such as hosting and email providers, under agreements that restrict their use of it; with professional advisers; where required by law or legal process; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this notice.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence and client records for as long as necessary to serve the purposes above and to meet legal and contractual obligations. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by writing to info@dninedata.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Some requests may be limited where the information is necessary to perform a contract or comply with a legal obligation.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The effective date above indicates the current version.
